Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Haltom City Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members are a group of volunteers trained under FEMA guidelines to assist Fire Department, Police Department and other various City departments in emergencies and disasters.

The  program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search, rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.They also assist the City in various capacities at City events.
