Municipal Energy Usage for Calendar Year 2020 - Compliance with House Bill (HB) 3693
The following information is being posted in compliance with the requirements of HB 3693 (Government Code Section 22643.001(b)) requiring all governmental entities (including municipalities) to publish consumption and payment information for utility services used by the city annually.
The City of Haltom City purchases natural gas from Atmos. In Calendar Year 2020, the City purchased a total of 28,769 thousand cubic feet (MCF) of natural gas.
The City purchases electricity from GEXA Energy. In calendar year 2020, the City purchased a total of 5,274,716 kilowatt hours. Note: As a Texas Coalition for Affordable Power (TCAP) member, the City's provider in 2020 was GEXA Energy. Some TCAP members may receive electric service on some city accounts from electric cooperatives. If this is the case, indicate all electric providers that provide service for city accounts and the total amount of electricity consumed by the city.
The City purchases water from the City of Fort Worth. In calendar year 2020, the City purchased a total of 16,943,969 gallons of water.
The total cost of natural gas, electricity, and water purchased by the City in the calendar year 2020 is $807,736.
