Volunteer for Sr. Transportation Service
Volunteer drivers are needed for the new social transportation program, Friends Helping Friends. The program will provide free rides for Haltom City residents, aged 60 years and older, to and from their homes to the Haltom City Senior Center. The service will run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Without this free transportation service, operated by volunteers, many Haltom City Seniors would not be able to attend events at the Senior Center, where they serve a hot lunch and fellowship is shared.
Please contact the Haltom City Senior Center for more details, 817-834-8021. A "Burgers & Bingo" fundraiser for this service will be held on May 19, 2017 at the Senior Center.
