'17 Junior Fire/Police Camp

The Camp is Full And Is No Longer Taking Submissions

haltom city fire police junior fire campThe Haltom City Junior Firefighter & Police Camp is a five day educational program taught by Haltom City firefighters and police officers. The camp, held July 24-28, 2017, covers fire/EMS skills and other hands on activities. Campers will learn about teamwork, responsibility and leadership. Topics include fire science, fire extinguishers, first aid, CPR, search and rescue, vehicle extrication, hose operations and much more.

The camp will take place July 24-28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Haltom City Central Fire Station, 5525 Broadway Ave. (mapped below). Eligible participants must be entering the 5th or 6th grade for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. Space is limited to the first 30 applicants. The cost is $100 and registration is now under way.
