The Crime Control & Prevention District (CCPD) administers the expenditures of the ¼ cent crime tax and is responsible for assembling a budget for each fiscal year to ensure that expenditures from the CCPD funds generated by this tax meet their intended use reducing and/or preventing crime in Haltom City.
Appointments are made by the City Council and the CCPD meets as needed.
