The Photographic Red Light Camera program began on June 30th, 2008. This program monitors intersections and records the license plates of red light violators.

The first 30 days will be a warning period in which violators will receive a warning notice informing them that they were identified as a red light violator. After the 30 day warning period violators will receive a violation notice directing them on the procedures to either pay for or protest the violation. The fee for a red light violation is $75. The first intersection to be activated are NE Loop 820 at Denton Hwy. and NE Loop 820 at Haltom Road.
